Nearing the end of the semester, I have been creating a series of prints for my Typography class. It is amazing to see them up on display!
Spring of 2016
It's the beginning of a new semester and I am quite excited. Watching the snow fall, I am caught between hoping for the day off and anticipating an exciting montage of classes and work. This semester, I have three on-campus jobs and two design jobs in addition to the usual freelance work. I am taking a typography course, an art history course (Enlightenment to Modernism), advanced Spanish, intermediate piano, and philosophy. Unfortunately, I have been so busy with school and work that I have neglected personal painting. My modeling career is steadily pushing forward. I now work at a print and design studio, gradually saving money for a planned trip abroad in 2017. Hopefully after I graduate I will go on a Grand Tour of my own, to study art, culture, and language.
Illustrations for Black Sun by Author Josh Lee
I haven't posted anything about my current work with the amazing author and poet Josh Lee, but it will come through around the start of the Fall Semester. We are working on a comic together that will be sold online, so keep on the lookout!!
Greatness Comes in Threes
I was requested by three separate people for an already sold painting, Birch Trees. Because I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, I had plenty of time at home to paint. Usually, it is my tactic to never reproduce a painting - never paint something more than once. But it was soothing, and great practice. As a set, they look quite nice, but they are off to their new homes now, and my teeth are fully healed.
A New Beginning
Hello Everyone! This is my new website, where I will post projects and work samples. Thank you for all of your love and support.
